Health & Safety Officer

• Implement and monitor comprehensive workplace HSE policies and procedures specific to industrial manufacturing and hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, high voltage). ​Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments (including machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and process safety), and targeted toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented quickly.
• Coordinate with Civil Defense and local authorities (including Saudi High Commission for Industrial Security - HCIS, if applicable) for compliance, permits, and emergency response planning.
• Foster a proactive culture of safety awareness among all employees and contractors, with a focus on electrical safety and material handling.

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field. ​NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification (mandatory).

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial safety, manufacturing (preferably chemical, electronic, or heavy industry), or process safety within KSA.
• Proven experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Hazardous Material handling is highly desirable

• Process Safety Management (PSM): Hands-on experience with PSM frameworks, especially in chemical, electronic, or heavy industry settings.
• HSE Compliance & Auditing: Deep understanding of Saudi safety regulations and international HSE standards (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA); skilled in conducting audits and ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Incident Investigation & CAPA: Experienced in root cause analysis, reporting near misses, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) swiftly and effectively. - Process Safety Management (PSM): Hands-on experience with PSM frameworks, especially in chemical, electronic, or heavy industry settings. - Hazardous Materials Handling: Knowledgeable in managing chemical safety, high-voltage equipment, and safe storage and disposal of hazardous substances. - Emergency Response Coordination: Skilled in liaising with Civil Defense and HCIS for emergency planning, drills, and permit management. - Safety Training & Toolbox Talks: Adept at delivering targeted safety briefings and fostering a culture of awareness among employees and contractors. - Electrical Safety & Material Handling: Strong focus on operational safety in environments involving electrical systems and heavy material movement. - Multilingual Communication: Effective communicator in both English and Arabic, with strong reporting and documentation capabilities. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, government bodies, and external auditors.
